This policy explains how CastroTools collects, uses, and protects the information of site visitors. By using CastroTools, you agree to the practices described here.
1. What data we collect
CastroTools does not require registration or login to use the calculators. The values you enter into the tools (principal, rate, weight, height, etc.) are processed entirely in your browser and are neither sent to nor stored on our servers.
We collect data in two specific situations:
- Contact form: name, email, and the message sent, used exclusively to respond to your request.
- Site navigation: technical data collected automatically by cookies and analytics tools, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and duration of stay.
2. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your browser. We use our own cookies to remember basic navigation preferences, and third-party cookies (Google) to display ads and measure audience engagement, as described in the sections below.
You can disable cookies directly in your browser settings. Doing so may limit some site features, but will not prevent you from using the calculators.
3. Advertising (Google AdSense)
CastroTools displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on user visits to this and other websites.

4. Google Analytics

5. Contact form
The contact form is processed by FormSubmit, which forwards your message directly to our email. We do not store these messages in a custom database. Check the FormSubmit Privacy Policy to learn how this service handles data during transmission.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties. Browsing data may be shared with Google exclusively for advertising and audience analysis purposes, as described in sections 3 and 4.
7. Your rights (LGPD)
Under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13,709/2018), you have the right to:
- Confirm the existence of data processing
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data
